The story of Letitia Sarah Leake, daughter of squatter Robert Leake, who moved to the South east of South Australia in 1844 and established a vast pastoral empire - Glencoe Station. Letitia ended up inheriting the entire Glencoe Station fortune which enabled the purchase of an estate in England and for her family to mix with royalty. A good deal of the story was preserved in letters and diaries which provide first hand accounts of the trials and tribulations of the Leake family journey.
